2024 Youth Adventure Program

Oneida County 4-H’s Youth Summer Adventure Program offers youth in grades 1-4 with daily activities in art, engineering, science, survival, and fun! This program will be led by Sharon Krause, an experienced UW-Extension Oneida County Educator. This program pairs nicely for youth entering grades 1-3 who are wanting to also participate in the Youth Summer Theater Program. Choose when you participate: just one day, a few days, or all of the days! Youth can participate in just the Adventure Program or BOTH the youth summer theater program AND the Adventure Program throughout the week! $10/participant for the Adventure Program.

Registration & Schedule

Space is limited for this program. Participants of the Youth Summer Theater Program will have priority registration. Registration will open to the public on June 1, 2024.

Parents/Guardians: You will need to sign up your child for the exact dates your child will be participating. You can do this online in advance or you can register in person before your child’s first session on the day your child plans to participate in the Adventure Program.

Cost & Payment

Cost: The cost is $10/participant for the entire week, regardless of the days youth participate.

Payment: Cash or check will be accepted and must be received before youth may participate. Payments can be made at the first session.

Checks should be written out to “Oneida County 4-H Leaders’ Association”.

Participation in Theater Program AND Adventure Program

If your child is entering grades 1-2: There is a very good chance your child will be cast as a “seagull” in the Theater Program, which means your child WILL be able to participate in the Adventure Program every day! The Adventure Program was designed to accommodate the youngest theater participants.

If your child is entering grades 3-4: Parents can wait to sign up their child for the Adventure Program immediately after the Theater Program Group Audition ends, as this is when parents will receive their child’s schedule for the week. We will have the Youth Adventure Program registration table available for you to do this.

Parents: Please be sure to let 4-H staff know exactly which days your child will be participating in the Adventure Program. Thank you!
