Mental Health/Youth Mental Health First Aid Training

For the rural community and those who serve them, UW-Madison Division of Extension is offering a FREE VIRTUAL Mental Health First Aid Training and Youth Mental Health First Aid Training.


Mental Health First Aid

Learn how to support your friends, family and neighbors.

First Aiders will need to complete a 2-hour, self-paced online class, and then participate in a 6.5 hour instructor led Zoom Meeting. The Zoom Meeting can be done in either one day, or split into two days.

Instructor Led Zoom Dates (one day):

May 17th, 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

July 17th, 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

Instructor Led Zoom Dates (two day):

July 9th & 10th, 12:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m.

July 23rd & 24th, 12:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m.

Youth Mental Health First Aid

Learn how to support the young people in your life.

First Aiders will need to complete a 2-hour, self-paced online class, and then participate in a 6 hour instructor led Zoom Meeting.

Instructor Led Zoom Dates:

May 24th, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

June 13th, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

July 26th, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
