Oneida County 4-H LEGO Robotics “Explorers” Club
Oneida County 4-H partners with FIRST LEGO League to give youth, ages 7-10, the opportunity to EXPLORE the fundamentals of engineering. Participants explore real-world problems, learn to design and code, and create unique solutions made with Legos! The 2024 theme was “Submerged.” During each session, youth collaborated and communicated to build, learn, and play together, and also shared what they’ve learned with others. They were encouraged to work with their teammates, listen to each other, take turns, and share ideas and pieces. The partnership between 4-H and FIRST LEGO League offers a unique opportunity for young people to experiment and grow their confidence, critical thinking, communication, and design skills through hands-on learning.
