Upcoming Online Gardening Programs
The UW-Madison Division of Extension Horticulture Program is offering free online gardening programs to help you be more successful with growing and caring for plants in the yard, garden, containers—or wherever your plants grow! These programs are suitable for gardeners of all skill levels.
The next series begins in February and is free and open to the public. You can attend just one or all three programs, though registration is required for each session. All programs will be recorded and available to view on the Extension Horticulture website at a later time.

Shedding Light on Indoor Gardening: A Beginner’s Guide to Plant Lighting
Wednesday Feb. 7, Noon–12:30 p.m.
Whether you are nurturing houseplants or starting seeds, indoor lighting makes a difference. Join us to learn more about the basics of indoor plant lighting. You will learn about fluorescent, LED and incandescent options for houseplants and seed germination. Our beginner-friendly indoor lighting tips will help you and your plants thrive indoors!
