Fuel + Flow for Spring

Spring is a time for renewal. With more daylight and fresh air, it’s a great opportunity to refresh simple habits that support your energy, digestion, and overall well-being.

Digestive Support: Movement & Stretching

These gentle movements can help stimulate digestion and reduce bloating. Perform each for about 30 seconds.

  • Seated or Standing Torso Twists – encourages digestive movement.
  • Knee-to-Chest (standing or seated) – gently compresses abdomen.
  • Side Bends – stretches abdominal muscles.
  • Cat-Cow Stretch (or gentle standing version) – supports gut mobility.
  • Deep Belly Breathing – activates relaxation and digestion.

Recipe: Peanut Butter Date Chocolate Bar

Ingredients:

  • 12-15 large Medjool dates, pitted
  • 1/4 cup peanut butter
  • 3/4 cup chocolate chips
  • 1 tsp coconut oil
  • flaky sea salt, optional

Instructions:

  • Line a baking tray with a piece of parchment paper.
  • Spread dates open and lay them side-by-side on tray. Press down gently to flatten them into an even layer (use a glass or bowl with parchment paper).
  • Spread the peanut butter across the top.
  • Add the chocolate chips and coconut oil to a microwave-safe bowl. Heat in 15-20 second increments, stirring between each burst, until fully melted and creamy. Spread over the top of the date bark.
  • Transfer to freezer and chill for 30-minutes. Break or cut bark into irregular pieces and enjoy!
