Junk Drawer Robotics

In Junk Drawer Robotics, youth in grades 4-8 will have fun designing their own solutions to problems and use what they have learned to build their own working contraptions using everyday household items such as sticks, paper clips, clothespins, junk drawer items, and more.


Each take-home box includes:

  • Materials for 8 weeks of Junk Drawer Robotics
  • Engineering notebook
  • Weekly facilitation and mentoring by a 4-H volunteer.


Registration Information:

  • Cost

    • $35 for 4-H Members*
    • $45 for Non-4-H Members (4-H is free to join and those interested can enroll in 4-H before registering for this program. Read how to enroll in 4-H below).
    • *Reduced fees available to 4-H families
